Minutes from Cancun airport…. Cabañas Puerto Morelos is located on the Caribbean in Puerto
Morelos, halfway between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Only 20
minutes south of Cancun’s international airport, we are a short
car, taxi or bus ride away.
Puerto Morelos is a sleepy fishing village nested between the
hustle and bustle of the surrounding area. Development has been
slow to make its way to our little town and that’s part of our
charm. Soak up the sun on quiet white sand beaches, stroll the
streets, visit our no pressure shops and enjoy first class
restaurants.
Puerto Morelos is an excellent jumping off point
for visiting Cancun, Playa del Carmen; the Maya ruins of Tulum,
Chichen Itza or Coba. Plus we are part of an underwater national
park, making Puerto Morelos one of the best dive and snorkel sites
along this coast.
